Restoring Vision, Changing Lives: Free Eye Clinic in Jalinder, India

In December 2018, the Dadoo Foundation, in partnership with the DIGITALSPEC Foundation, organized a free eye clinic in Jalinder, India, bringing essential optic services to those in need. This impactful initiative provided free eye exams, cataract surgeries, and eyeglass lenses and fittings, offering the gift of sight to many. In support of this mission, Christopher Dadoo led a collection drive within his local church and school community to gather old and used eyeglass frames and lenses.

The Dadoo family patrons personally traveled to India to deliver the donated eyeglasses and assist in overseeing the clinic. As a result, over 480 individuals received much-needed eye care, and 145 people regained their vision through cataract surgeries. This initiative was a powerful reminder of how collective efforts can transform lives and bring hope to communities in need.
