Local Giving. Global Vision. Give the Gift of Sight.
Do you have old eyeglasses or sunglasses you no longer use? Donate them to the Dadoo Foundation's Fall Eyeglasses Drive! We're collecting prescription glasses, non-prescription glasses, sunglasses, and frames with or without lenses through November to support future eye-care clinics in India.
Led by Christopher Dadoo, this community-wide initiative brings together families, students, and businesses across the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region to support the Foundation's Vision for All cause, which expands access to essential eye care for underserved communities. Whether outdated, scratched, or simply forgotten in a drawer, every donated pair can make a meaningful difference.
Local Giving. Global Impact.
Donated eyewear will be delivered to India this winter for use at the Dadoo Foundation's future eye-care clinics, where local optometrists will help match frames with appropriate lenses for individuals in underserved communities.
The drive builds directly on the Foundation's Vision for All initiatives, including its May 2026 eye surgery camp, where more than 70 individuals received screenings and eight cataract surgeries were performed in India. By collecting eyewear for upcoming clinics, Christopher is helping expand these programs' reach while reflecting the next generation's commitment to service and community engagement.
Join Us in Giving the Gift of Sight!
Collection boxes are located in Fairfax, VA, and Rockville, MD, with donations accepted through the end of November.
Families, students, businesses, and community organizations are encouraged to participate. For collection details or to schedule a pickup across the DMV, please contact Christopher Dadoo.
As the seasons change, please consider helping someone's view change too. That pair of glasses gathering dust could make a world of difference.
Clearer Vision. Brighter Futures.
